In 1964 Marguerite and Dominic started serving pizza and sandwiches from a small corner in the back of a bar called the Squan Tavern. Dominic was a meat cutter in a supermarket in Long Branch during the day and used to drive down to Manasquan at night to work at the Squan Tavern serving the foods that he was raised on.

Connolly Station opened May 19, 2005, named after a train station in Dublin, and proximity to the Belmar Train Station. This combined two restaurants, Pat's Tavern and Patrick's Pub with one menu and theme. They feature a large menu with a wide variety such as; mouth watering steaks, fresh seafood, large salads, wraps, sandwiches, & Irish specialties like fresh corned beef & shephard's pie. Established in 1997, J.J. Bitting Brewing Company was the first brewery to operate in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, since the repeal of prohibition in 1933. This spacious, 3-story restaurant resides in a beautifully restored 100 year old brick building that once housed The J.J. Bitting Coal and Feed Depot.
