Reebok International Limited is a British producer of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories and is currently a subsidiary of Adidas AG. The name comes from Afrikaans/Dutch spelling of rhebok, a type of African antelope or gazelle. The company, founded in 1895, was originally called Mercury Sports but was renamed Reebok in 1960. The company's founders, Joe and Jeff Foster, found the name in a dictionary won in a race by Joe Foster as a boy; the dictionary was a South African edition, hence the spelling.

Eastern Lines began its existence in a little store in the Acme shopping center in Belmar in February 1981, although in the early years the shop was known as Zodiac Surf & Skate. Although I grew up in the Seaside Heights area, when I began to look around for a location for a shop, Belmar was an easy choice. Besides the fact that there was no other shop there, Belmar has always been rich in the surfing history of the Jersey Shore.

Heritage Surf and Sport was founded over 35 years ago by Dan Heritage. The first store location was in Sea Isle City New Jersey. Today you can also find shops in Ocean City and Margate. Established in 1977, Fairman's is one of the East Coast's oldest and most respected Skate, Snow and Surf shops. Fairman's is a single-location, family-owned business, that is proud to be skating into its fourth decade.

The Surf Shack started in 1995 in Ventnor, NJ by Mike Shellem. For years now it has been the number one option for surfboards in the area with the best prices and selection. Over the years the store has continued to grow and expand and will continue to do so in the future.

Skate Penn has been operating in State College, PA since October 2007. After Shop Co-Owner Christian Pfeifer relocated from Colorado and landed in State College, Pennsylvania, the options for purchasing skate gear were slim, and even the places that had it available had very little knowledge about skateboarding. Products were only available in stores that carried multiple types of products, therefore, there was no real "Skate Shop" for local riders to call home. With that in mind, Christian got on the phone to his brother "Shaggy" Pfeifer, who was living in St. Petersburg, Florida, and told him of the need for a Skate Shop in town. Shaggy decided he would come check out the scene and a few weeks later he visited State College, and after spending a weekend in town, and seeing the potential, he relocated and the concept of Skate Penn was born, and then in October of 2007, Skate Penn opened its doors in the original location in the Fraser St Alley.
